If you’re anywhere in the Gastonia area, Savory is an absolute must-visit! We stopped in for breakfast/brunch and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything we tried was wonderful, but the hospitality truly took it over the top. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Martha, and our server, Marilyn, provided best-in-class service—attentive, welcoming, and genuine. It’s rare to find a spot that hits every single note this well. Highly, highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience! We tried the tacos, fajitas, picada, and fried plantains, and everything was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and each dish was full of flavor. We especially loved the natural plants decorating the restaurant, which added to the warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent from start to finish, and we loved Martha—she was so friendly and made our visit even more enjoyable. It’s clear they take pride in both their food and customer experience. Amazing! Our new go to brunch spot. Sp many options and they have breakfast menu til 3 and lunch starting at 11am. Also got the stuffed mushrooms for app and they were great, 3 large ones.
This was our first time stopping in and we were not disappointed! I got the chicken piccata and my husband ordered the chicken marsala. The food was hot and delicious. The atmosphere and decor were super cute and our server, Shawn, was knowledgeable and friendly. We'll definitely be going back.
Brand new restaurant in Gastonia, NC! Super cute with indoor and outdoor seating. Quite a selection of food on the menu. We had grilled chicken with sweet potato and mac/cheese. We, also, had the fried chicken with sautéed spinach and mac/cheese. The grill chicken was really good BUT THE FRIED CHICKEN WAS AMAZING!!! Best I've ever eaten. I, personally, did not care for the mac/cheese but my husband liked it. We both loved the spinach, swet potatoes and homemade sauces! Definitely recommend!

After moving from the Chicago area, we were honestly disappointed with the dining scene in Gastonia. We’ve tried both longtime local favorites and newer restaurants, but nothing had really stood out—until we found this recently opened gem. As a South American myself, I can say this is one of the few places that truly gets Latin fusion right while staying authentic to South American flavors. Every dish was incredibly well seasoned, and the quality of the sauces was exceptional. You can tell a lot of care and attention goes into the food. It’s refreshing to find a restaurant serving food with this level of authenticity and quality. With all the exciting revitalization happening in downtown Gastonia, I sincerely hope this restaurant continues to grow and becomes one of the area’s standout dining destinations. We’ll definitely be back! I ordered the picada small and left with a lot of food in a box. Excellent. Husband had the shrimp with green beans and mac and cheese.
